  • Medical Detox Program: (COMING SOON) A medical detox program is a safe and effective way to withdraw from addictive substances.
  • Residential (Inpatient) Program: (COMING SOON) Residential treatment is the next step after detox, when you can start build coping skills for lasting recovery.
  • Partial Hospitalization Program: PHP is designed for individuals who have completed residential care. Benefit from a full day of treatment and return home or to supportive living in the evening.
  • Intensive Outpatient Program: IOP is similar to PHP, except the schedule is less demanding (about 9 hours/week). This makes work or school easier to fit in. IOP usually follows a PHP treatment phase.
  • Outpatient Treatment: Outpatient therapy and counseling is the final phase and provides continued support after PHP and IOP are over.
  • Community Housing: Sometimes called sober living, this program provides a safe, drug-free supportive living environment during treatment in out PHP, IOP or Outpatient Treatment programs.

Tion Barber

Operations Manager

I started working at TruHealing Baltimore shortly after being a client myself. My sobriety has been so rewarding, and it helps me guide others to be the best they can be.

It makes my heart smile to watch our clients look in the rearview mirror at their past and see how much they’ve grown. While I cannot take credit for their journeys, I can walk alongside them; I can give each client the tools necessary to overcome some of life’s toughest challenges.

TruHealing’s staff works hard to give clients the best experience in recovery. We serve as role models and provide the resources for clients to live clean and sober lives. I wake up each day with a goal in mind: to save someone, just as someone saved me.

Tion Barner is the Operations Manager at TruHealing Baltimore. Barner has an Associates of Arts from the Community College of Baltimore County and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Towson University

As we continue to grow Amatus Health, the need to stay competitive and differentiate ourselves in unique ways is crucial. Building creative approaches to reach more people will take our company to new heights. This is why I am pleased to announce that we are officially rebranding. Our new national name, TruHealing Addiction & Mental Health Treatment, will eventually replace Amatus Recovery Centers.

You may be asking, “Why are we doing this?” This new name will give us national uniformity and help brand ourselves as a whole, which will be done in phases. You will still see our existing facility names co-branded with TruHealing for the time being.

Healing is what we do. Everyone who comes through our doors is in a moment of profound struggle in their lives. We support them through a life-changing process of healing and recovery, and they leave our facilities changed. This new name is a representation of that process. As mentioned above, it also allows us to have a national brand, which will make us a recognizable name in the addiction and mental health field.

In summation, these changes present an excellent opportunity for our organization to develop our mission, vision, and purpose. I look forward to prosperous growth as we head in a new and positive direction.

Sincerely,
